Synergistic Activities

Synergistic Activities

  • Academic & Professional Integration

The Tactical Performance and Thermoregulation Laboratory actively integrates research, teaching, and professional development by engaging undergraduate and graduate students in applied physiological and environmental research. Lab activities support interdisciplinary collaboration across exercise physiology, nutrition, and human performance domains while contributing to workforce development in tactical, clinical, and human performance careers.
  • Collaborative Research & External Partnerships

The laboratory maintains collaborations with academic researchers, industry professionals, and external consultants to advance research on thermoregulation, physiological adaptation, and human performance. These partnerships enhance methodological rigor, translational relevance, and opportunities for student training.
  • Student Training & Research Development

The lab provides hands-on training in human subject testing, physiological monitoring, data analysis, and research communication. Students gain applied experience in experimental design, participant interaction, and interpretation of physiological data within controlled environmental conditions.
